Sedimenti

Noi viviamo su uno strato di terra molto sottile che sembra quasi galleggiare sul magma. Tutta la nostra esistenza così fragile ed insicura sembra riflettere questa situazione originaria.

Ho fotografato queste formazioni naturali da cui dall’interno della terra fuoriesce materia magmatica, che all’esterno assume forme diverse, quasi a voler ripercorrere un cammino interiore che da un indistinguibile caos lentamente prende poi una sua identità e forma.

Credo, sia molto forte l’influenza che questi luoghi, che inevitabilmente ci riportano ad un mondo ancestrale, esercitano sull’uomo così come la loro capacità di modificarne i comportamenti.

We live on a very thin layer of earth that almost seems to float on magma.

Our whole existence, so fragile and insecure, seems to reflect this original situation.

I photographed these natural formations from which magmatic matter emerges from the inside of the earth, which takes on different forms outside, as if to retrace an internal journey which slowly takes its form and its identity from an indistinguishable chaos.

I believe that these places, which inevitably bring us back to an ancestral world, exert a great influence on man and has the ability to change their behavior.
