Le forme di un paesaggio

Queste foto fanno parte di una ricerca, che riproduce un particolare punto di vista sul paesaggio napoletano. Il lavoro si caratterizza come un viaggio attraverso luoghi indefiniti, aree di confine, ambienti ormai privi di identità spesso ai margini del mondo urbano, dove la natura costituisce un territorio di rifugio per le diversità, altrove e ovunque scacciate.

Sono spazi di transito, territori in una continua trasformazione nel tempo.

È in questi territori che si può superare la separazione fra spazi nomadi (ovvero vuoti) e spazi sedentari (ovvero pieni). La loro bellezza sta nell’essere provvisoria e transitoria.

È qui dove il territorio percepisce il carattere transitorio della materia, del tempo e dello spazio che la natura ritrova una nuova solitudine uno stato, ibrido e ambiguo, sfuggito al controllo dell’uomo (wilderness) e ne sancisce in pieno il diritto all’esistenza

Questo lavoro, dunque, mette in primo piano soprattutto luoghi abbandonati difficilmente assoggettabili a qualsiasi tipo di pianificazione e rappresenta le forme dell’anti-paesaggio.

The shapes of a landscape

These photos are part of a research, which reproduces a particular point of view on the Neapolitan landscape. The work is characterized as a journey through undefined places, border areas, environments now devoid of identity often on the edge of the urban world, where nature constitutes a territory of refuge for diversity, elsewhere and everywhere driven away.

They are transit spaces, territories in a continuous transformation over time.

It is in these territories that the separation between nomadic (i.e. empty) and sedentary (i.e. full) spaces can be overcome. Their beauty lies in being temporary and transitory.

It is here, where the territory perceives the transitory nature of matter, time and space that nature finds a new solitude, a hybrid and ambiguous state, which has escaped human control (wilderness) and fully confirms its right to existence.

This work, therefore, focuses mostly on abandoned places that are difficult to subject to any type of planning and represents the forms of the anti-landscape.
